Forum Rules

HFFM Forum Rules & Regulations

The rules created regulate behaviour and actions of those who use HFFM Forum. By registering to HFFM Forum you are agreeing to abide by these terms and rules. Failure to comply to the rules will result in moderator action, such as warnings, infractions & bans, alternative methods may also be used.

The term “HFFM”, “HFFM Forum”, “Habbo Fun FM”, "administration", "administrators", “us” or “we” refer to the administration of HFFM and subsidiaries or affiliated websites and services. The terms “you”, “your”, “members” and “users” refers to the user or a visitor of HFFM and subsidiaries or affiliated websites and services.

Section One : The General Rules

Rules in section one are to be applied throughout the forum.

1: Multiple Accounts
Members of HFFM are allowed one account. Account sharing is prohibited and will result in a variable ban. Any extra accounts you make will be merged with your preferred user, unless you're using multiple accounts to get around a ban. If this is the case, any extra accounts will be permed and your ban extended

2: Illegal and/or Questionable Activities
HFFM Forum does not approve of any illegal or questionable activity. This includes, but not limited to:

  • Illegal distribution of content e.g. Software, music, copyright material
  • Conversations regarding illegal activities
  • Offensive or explicit images
  • Illicit and gruesome content

We require you to abide by the law of your residing country.

3: Abusive Behavior
3.1) Bullying
Bullying is the use of force, threat, or coercion to abuse, intimidate, or aggressively impose domination over others.

3.2) Hate Speech
Speech that attacks a person or group on the basis of race, religion, gender, or sexual orientation.

4) Undermining Moderator/Management Actions
Do not undermine or reverse actions taken by a moderator or member of the management team. This includes, but not limited to:

  • Removing moderator edits
  • Restarting a closed thread
If you do not agree with a ban you may appeal it in the support section.

5) Using Staff-specific Bulletin Board Codes
Staff-specific Bulletin Board Codes should only be used by assigned staff members.

6) Forum Tool Abuse
Every tool serves a purpose on the forum and should only be used for appropriate reasons anywhere on the forum. This includes, but does not limit to:

  • Spoiler Abuse
  • Quote Abuse
  • Mention tool abuse
  • Excessive use of the like system

Section Two : Posting Rules

Rules in section two are to be applied when posting on HFFM Forum.

7) Spam
Spam is intentional abuse of the Post Tool creating unnecessary spam, such as pointless & off topic posting. Spam also includes bumping old threads excessively which adds no discussion. It is the moderator or forum managers discretion whether to close the thread or not. This rule also excludes the Spam & Games section.

8) Personal Identifiable Information
We do not allow users to post personal identifiable information (PII) about other users. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Private messages
  • Images / videos of a user or links to a page where an image/video of another user is located (this includes social networking sites e.g. Facebook, Twitter)
  • Personal details (specific address, phone number) of anyone, forum user or otherwise.

Users are welcome to post information about themselves, but must be aware that HFFM is not responsible for the content that the user chooses to publish and is jeopardising their safety. We do not advise that you post content that will put you at risk. HFFM reserves the right to remove content that it deems questionable.

9) Specified Thread Rules
Some threads such as "Something you want to say but can't" contain their own rules in the threads first post, please abide by thread specific rules.

Section Three : Feature Rules

Rules in section three are to be applied when using features on the forum.

10) Private Messaging System
The private messaging (PM) system is used for you to converse privately with other forum users. These will not be accessed unless abused. This includes, but not limited to:

  • Abusing users via the PM system
  • Spamming a user's PM system

11) Report System
The report system is used to report inappropriate posts/visitor messages/private messages which are not in concurrence with the rules. This includes, but not limited to:

  • Reporting multiple times
  • Reporting multiple posts of the same user
  • Reporting posts to bring attention to a post that doesn't violate rules

Section Four : Profile Rules

The rules in section four are orientated around HFFM Forum profiles.

12) Avatar Size
For a regular user, the avatar size is 200x250. For donors and staff (excluding administrators), the avatar size is 200x300.

13) Signature Sizes
All users are permitted up to four signature images. Your total signature size must not exceed 500*300.

Further Information

HFFM reserve the right to gather basic information from you when logging onto HFFM Forum, your Internet Provider is logged automatically along with your email address for our mailing list. If you do not wish to receive notifications please deselect the "Receive Admin Emails" in your settings on the User Control Panel.

At any point we may alter the terms and conditions and forum rules without prior notice, it is your duty to keep updated with this, failing to do so can result in you breaking our forum rules. Under no circumstances will you be issued any refunds at HFFM Forum. Please be aware of this before buying/donating to HFFM Forum.

All content posted (Threads, posts, avatars etc.) is the views of the author and not HFFM Forum. We are not responsible for any content uploaded, however any user we feel abusing our rules and/or service will have immediate action taken against them. If you see any posts that might be found offensive or breaking any of our rules listed please use the Report Post system and the moderation team will look into the matter. You will not receive any notification(s) of the outcome.

Using HFFM Forum is seen as a privilege which the administration have the right to restrict or remove from you.

The administration at HFFM Forum have the right to remove or modify any content uploaded onto the forum. This includes,but not limited to removing accounts, threads and posts.

GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)
This Customer Data Processing Agreement reflects the requirements of the European Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) as it came into effect on May 25, 2018. HFFMs services offered in the European Union are GDPR ready and this DPA provides you with the necessary documentation of this readiness.

This Data Processing Agreement (“DPA”) is an addendum to the Users Terms of Service (“Agreement”) between HFFM (“HFFM”) and the User. All capitalized terms not defined in this DPA shall have the meanings set forth in the Agreement. User enters into this DPA on behalf of itself and, to the extent required under Data Protection Laws, in the name and on behalf of its Authorized Affiliates.

The parties agree as follows:
Under new GDPR rules enforced as of May 25 2018, HFFM as a data controllor process, store and utilise data provided by users for the provisioning of their services, all data stored by HFFM is not shared with 3rd parties unless explicitly outlined or agreed upon, additionally, all data held is available within HFFM Connect, HFFM Staff Portal and/or HFFMForum at any time for the viewing of said user, we do not store data without the users consent, and under GDPR laws you may request removal of your data if this is appropriate. In the event of deletion of user data, HFFM may retain access logs in relation to HFFM connect, HFFM Staff Portal and/or HFFMForum for any period of time at our own discretion. In the event that HFFM have removed an account due to breach of policies, HFFM reserve the right to retain the users data indefinitely to ensure prevention of a recurring incident in relation to violation of HFFM's terms or policies in the future.

In the event of data breach, HFFM will do its utmost to ensure that notification is sent out to affected users immediately, taking reasonable and necessary measures to do so, said notifications will contain all information necessary as appropriate under the data protection laws and GDPR.
Right to Restrict Processing/Right to Object
You have the right to request we restrict processing of your personal data where there is no legitimate interest or lawful reason for us to do so.

Right of Access to Information
GDPR gives you the right to access information stored about you, all of your data is available within HFFM connect, HFFM Staff Portal and/or HFFMForum.

Right to be forgotten
As an individual you have the right to request the removal of any personal data we hold on you.

You can make a request where your personal data is no longer necessary in relation to the purpose for which it was originally collected/processed.

Right to Rectification
GDPR provides the right to have any personal data rectified that may be incorrect or incomplete.

As a user, you can update your own personal details via HFF Connect, HFFM Staff Portal and/or HFFMForum; however if this is not sufficient please contact your relevant department manager. For queries they are unable to resolve, you can submit a query here.

Terms and Conditions
By viewing and registering on this website you are agreeing to the following Terms and Conditions:

HFFM administration holds no responsibility to your account. The administration of HFFM reserve the right to edit, close or lock, move or republish any of your threads/posts. All content posted/uploaded onto HFFM becomes property of HFFM.

HFFM reserves the right to remove and alter threads, posts or submitted content on our forum. Content deemed unacceptable will be removed from public view only. The Administrators have the right to read all private messages sent between users and have the right to terminate/transfer or modify your subscriptions.

The moderation team will attempt to remove all unacceptable content from public view. All threads and posts are the views of the posters and not HFFM.

By agreeing to use HFFM or any of its affiliated services, you agree to hold HFFM and affiliates as well as their respective members of staffing not liable for any damages, losses, costs and expenses, including on a full indemnity basis all legal, defence and settlement costs and expenses and any fines or penalties imposed by authorities.

HFFM reserves the right to modify these rules and terms and conditions at any time without notice.
