How do you convert a WAV file into an MP3?

You need a kwl program like I got. Mines called Magix Music Maker Delux I have an old ver7 which cost me £30 a few years ago. This program does a lot more than convert video & audio files.

Waht u need Jade is a freeware from the net.....a converter......try a few of these & remeber when u downloaded b4 u open & install to virus check the files. Click the links below to go to the sites.

You might be able to do it in sound recorder, or whatever its called.
Open it [start > all programs > accessories > entertainment > sound recorder], open your .WAV file, and then go to save as..
And in the box underneath where you type what you want the name of the file to be, theres another box, and choose the format you want from there.
Idk if you can do that though.

Audacity deffo does it though. Audacity is great. You can download it here (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/).
