I read the 1st book (the one that is already a film) and then read the whole of the second book yesterday and am nearly at the end of the third book. Anyone read them...what you all think of the series?

omgosh ;o i find them addictive...i came back from thailand picked up the 2nd one and read all 600 pages in like 5 hours :D i havn't read a book in nearly 3 years Dx

Ive never read it or seen the film. I just find it annoying, simply because loads of people say it's amazing and go on about it for ages and it bores me, much like Harry Potter.

but i think she should have just killed off a really good charactor like carilse or some one and then that would have been just as beed as 8 small charactors dieing.

I love the series... The book was better than the film, but it had a small budget and they can never fit everything into it.

In BD I hated the ending, + How the hell can Edward produce sperm, I WANT TO KNOW, he's meant to be like stone. If Rosalie etc. can't have kids then how come he can??? I think that Caius should have attacked someone and they fight, someone dies. That would have suited me. I liked the Bella part at the end though where she manages to show Ed her thoughts.

I think the Volturi should have been dethroned, the Cullen's take over - with the Romanions at their side etc. BUT A GOOD FIGHT WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER.

I'm not Team Jacob, but what he said was true. If Bella let go of Edward she could have been happy with him. He didn't really do anything wrong. He loved her.
But in BD that was messed. He loved Bella then he imprinted on her daughter. "Oh Nessie, I have something to tell you. I love you mom."

Yeah there 4 in the series and I just finished the last one a few weeks ago. Twilight is a great book and so is the 2nd book "New moon" and the 3rd "Eclipse", the last one "breaking dawn" was a bit disappointing and boring and not very well written

42 hours later and I'd read them all, including the thing that got leaked on the site.
Then I went to see the movie BY MYSELF and enjoyed it.

I read them ages ago and got sick of waiting for the Breaking Dawn books. Upon rereading them a few times, I found a few plotholes and decided that they weren't as great as what I thought they were. They're alright for a read if you're not a fan of any other series, and you like the whole Mary Sue romance novels, but I think that it was good but not great.
The movie sucked, big time.
Stephen King thinks that Meyer can't write worth a darn.

Just started reading the twilight series started reading last night on chapter 8 good book even tho no exciting bit snjust yet.
Oh god, don't get me started.. I watched the film, and thought it was okay. My mate practically made me read the first book, and i loved it. Seriously the film did it no justice, except the fact Robert Pattison is in it:) Though, i think fourth book is the besttt!
iv read them all 3 times exept for new moon, which i only read once.
i despise the films, but apparently for new moon they got a beeter director soo who knows !
